Food was decent, I have to be honest, I wasn't amazed, with how amazing the rest of Cameron house is maybe I was expecting too much. Overall I'd say it is a decent Italian restaurant with ok prices.
Bright, casual dining, and bar in lovely location. Food was fine, but soup wasn't the vegetable broth l expected & my pizza had a very tough base. My wife's fish & chips was far tastier. Staff were pleasant, but not overly attentive. (I ordered an extra portion of fries, they never materialised, but I was charged. However, this was deducted from the bill.) Having mentioned all the above, we did enjoy our late lunch and afternoon at the Boat House.
Great location, which we probably paid for, rather than the quality of the food. Wasn't really great value for money. The cocktail we paid £12 for was basically just a gin and tonic. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We visited La Vista at Cameron House during our Scotland trip, and the setting alone is worth the visit — truly breathtaking natural scenery all around. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the staff were kind enough to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. We ordered the Pollo Pizza (they confirmed the chicken was halal), the non-alcoholic flower cocktail, and fried Loch Crerar oysters. The food was tasty. The only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that while the food was good, there’s just a bit of room for that extra wow factor in flavour.
Absolutely fantastic Italian food. Super service. Will definitely stop again when ever going up to loch Lomond again. Everything was excellent here. Thank you to all the staff! Children and dogs also enjoyed it. Views of the marina and loch Lomond. Cannot recommend it enough.
